I came across this idea on another blog months ago and tucked it away for a rainy day.  Today is that day!  We need to raise $6,000 in order to travel.  This will cover airline tickets, food, lodging, translator, and child visa.  Again this is a large amount, but if we break it down this way

300 families giving $20 each = $6,000

Please  join with us in this effort to bring our son home.  At the top of our blog you will find a link to make tax deductible donations.
We ask for your continued prayers and help in sharing our story with others.  Consider sharing this on your FB page or blog.  Thank you so much!

Our desire is not that others might be relieved
while you are hard pressed, but that there might be equality.
At the present time your plenty will supply what they need,
so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need.
2 Corinthians 8:13-14

Paul is writing to a group in Corinth about the generosity of a group in Macedonia explaining that "out of the most severe trial, their overflowing joy and extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity."   He is encouraging them to finish what they were so eager to begin and follow the example of their fellow Christians. They gave their hearts in worship to the Lord and then in love for their brothers gave all that they could, and with joy.

Throughout this adoption process we have been encouraged to continue to give to others also in need and to whom we have promised our support without exception.  We trust that God will supply what we need in the time that we need it.  "Every good and perfect gift comes from Him"  As I wrote in a letter that went out asking for support we are very humbled in even being in a position to receive such help.  Giving, for me, is almost always much easier than receiving.  Acknowledging that we are in need of help has not come easy, but I am learning it is the way God intended the body of Christ to function.  The body of believers was designed by God to work together not independent of one another, but it "grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work."

If you are able we would greatly appreciate your support in rescuing our daughter.  All donations can be sent to All Blessings International with our names, Chris and Ruth Robbins in the memo line.
